FRIENDS OF KAYANY AND ITS STEERING COMMITTEE INVITE YOU TO HELP THE VICTIMS OF THE WORST HUMANITARIAN CRISIS OF THIS GENERATION
Saving a Generation Through Education
The Syrian war is now in its seventh year and has forced millions into exile. In neighboring Lebanon, one out of every four people is a refugee. More than 500,000 Syrian refugee children suffer poverty and hunger. More than 250,000 of those children are out of school.
We are a US public charity that supports education for Syrian refugee children. We work closely with Kayany Foundation, a Lebanese charity specializing in education initiatives. We share the same charitable mission of educating Syrian refugee children in a safe and supportive environment. Kayany Foundation has a proven track record of providing top quality education to the most vulnerable children living in refugee settlements in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.
Neither Friends of Kayany nor Kayany Foundation has any political, sectarian or religious agenda. None of the officers or directors of Friends of Kayany receive any compensation or financial remuneration of any kind.

Our goal is to educate Syrian refugee children
living in Informal Tented Settlements (ITS) in Lebanon.
We give them the opportunity
to learn.
We give them and their families hope
for the future.

TEACHER, ONE BOOK
AND ONE PEN CAN
